We’ve Hatched!

We are opening our doors and starting a new adventure in the same location of Petaluma’s former ranch and restaurant called “The Eggery.” Once an egg processing facility in the 1940s, the Eggery expanded during the 1970s into a cafe, art gallery and event space where belly dancers, musicians (including “Spirit in the Sky” singer Norman Greenbaum) and other creatives delighted patrons as they dined. The Eggery was later converted into a home and sold in early 2022.

When we purchased the historic Petaluma property this March, we knew we needed to keep the Eggery’s legacy alive by creating a space that advocates for good and honors its community. With this, the Deviled Eggery was born. Devoted to programs that support themes of social justice, creative expression, mental health, sustainable agriculture and environmental protection, the Deviled Eggery is “a gathering space where ideas for a healthy community are hatched.”

We ‘eggsist’ to support the greater Petaluma area with programs related to sustainable agriculture/climate action, mental health advocacy, expressive arts, and social justice. We are just getting started and we’re ‘eggcited’ to share more news soon..
